Development of Worksheet Based On Dialogical Argumentation

Abstract

Argumentation has an important role in physics learning activities because it provides an opportunity for students to engage in group discussions and give each other opinions that indicate the extent of understanding of concepts, skills, and scientific reasoning abilities. That study aims to develop worksheets based on dialogical argumentation to trace the students argumentation skill and understanding skill. This research was conducted using research and development design ( R&D). With the development stage; research and data collection; planning; development of product draft; trials; and product enhancements. Before the product is made the researcher firs validate (judgement) the breadth and dept of the material, the suitability of basic comoetencies with indicator and suitability of indicators with the materi on the Static Fluid material. The results of the analysis are then used as a benchmark for developing the worksheet. The worksheet that has been created is then validated back to then tested to the students. The developed worksheet is expected to help teachers evercome difficulties in teaching science concepts, helping students to more easily understand the concepts of science as well as for students to actively solve the ploblems of science encountered in life.
