The Effects of Situation-Based Learning on Self-Regulated Learning in Elementary School

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how effect SBL model on self-regulated learning. The instruments used in this research are self-regulated learning questionnaire, observation sheet of student activity, and field notes. The method used in this research is quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. Research population is all students of grade V SD in Tanjungsari Subdistrict. Sampling used is cluster sampling technique. Meanwhile, the sample of research are SDN Gudang 1 as experimental class and SDN Mariuk as control class. The result of research showed SBL model have positive effect on self-regulated learning significantly. SBL model is better than conventional learning to improve self-regulated learning significantly.
