Synthesia App-based Angklung Learning in Primary School Sindi Silvya Dwi Putri and J. Julia

Abstract
Effective angklung learning is required in primary school so the basic competence of music can be achieved well and the students can acquire good musical experience. Nowadays, there has been a variety of innovations in the field of computers that can be used to support various types of learning, including angklung learning (music). This paper aims at analyzing the results of angklung learning development assisted by Synthesia app. The method used was action research involving 11 primary school students as the subjects. The results showed that the use of Synthesia was very accommodating for teachers in angklung teaching, and students ability in playing angklung improved shortly. Synthesia was user-friendly, and made students memorize the composition of angklung more easily. Thus, it could be concluded that angklung learning in primary school became more effective by using the help of Synthesia.
