The Computer and Keyboard-based Composition of Songs with National Character as Teaching Materials J. Julia and Tedi Supriyadi

Abstract
Currently, songs composition with national character for teaching materials has become a fundamental requirement for music educators. The simplification of songs composition can be performed using computer and keyboard. This paper aims at analyzing the results of computer and keyboard based song composition (music and vocal) with the help of Mixcraft Pro Studio 7 software, integrated with PreSonus AudioBox USB recording equipment, and Behringer C-2 condenser microphone. This study employed computational method. The results showed that songs made using the keyboard had good quality. Correspondingly, the songs processed with Mixcraft Pro Studio 7 software integrated with PreSonus AudioBox USB recording equipment and Behringer C-2 condenser microphone produced clear sound quality and could be processed with various types of sound effects. Thus, it could be concluded that computer and keyboard had great potential to help music educators in composing teaching material songs effectively.
