STUDY ON GEOMETRY TRANSFORMATION CONCEPTS IN BATIK BESUREK BENGKULU

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the geometric transformation concepts contained in Batik Besurek Bengkulu. This research is a qualitative research using ethnomatematic approach method. Results from the research show that in batik besurek Bengkulu have the concept of transformation geometry that is 1) reflection, 2) translation, 3) rotation, and 4) dilatation.
