Abstract

There are several learning models that implement by the teacher to support the learning process for any purposes. Entering the 21st century, developing country such as Indonesia need more than basic skills to prepare their student to compete in the global area. Furthermore, an effective learning model can help the process of transferring the knowledge from teacher to the students. Introduce Project Oriented Problem Based Learning with integration between Project Based Learning and Problem Based Learning that can improve student ability in solving a problem creatively and understand the main of the problem. The researcher wants to investigate the implementation of POPBL in Junior High School. The instruments that needed are lesson plan and observation sheet. At the end of the research, the POPBL can be used as innovation in teaching-learning model based on three stages POPBL framework design: Onset stage, Execution Stage, and Closure stage show positive and effective result in teaching environmental pollution topic.

Keywords: POPBL model, framework design, innovation
