The effectiveness of flipped classroom approach to students critical and creative thinking skills Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract The research aimed to describe the effectiveness of flipped classroom approach to students critical and creative thinking skills in senior high school. The reasearch involved 87 students divided into two classes of sains. The first class used experiment based learning without flipped classroom approach while the flipped classroom approach was used in the second. The research data were obtained pretest and posttest about fluids motion to measured critical and creative thinking skills. The increment level in students mark was analysed by normalized n-gain formula. Obtaining a normalized experimental group n-gain score of 0.73 which fulfil high category range and control group n-gain score of 0.24 which fulfil medium category range. It was found that applying flipped classroom approach to students is effectively applicable. Keywords: flipped classroom approach, critical and creative thinking skills, fluids in motion concepts Topic: Physics Education |
